In Chinese, the surname Liang (梁) roughly translates to “bridge” in English. Born in Guangzhou and raised in Los Angeles, I’ve found it quite fitting seeing how I see myself as a bridge. My experiences growing up in two different cultures have taught me the importance of bridging differences and connecting the best of both worlds. As a result, I’ve come to appreciate intersection and interconnection. My name is Andy Liang, a graphic designer based in Los Angeles who received a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design. I work primarily with print and identity systems, with an interest in the union between culture and technology.
